On her mother’s side, Ilsey is the niece of television producer Lloyd J. Schwartz. She is also the great-niece of writers Al Schwartz and Elroy Schwartz.
Ilsey’s paternal grandparents were Nathan S. Juber and Doreen Marcus.
Ilsey’s maternal grandmother was television producer Sherwood Schwartz (born Sherwood Charles Schwartz; the son of Herman Schwartz and Rose). Herman and Rose were from Russia.
